Lauren and Markie
Lauren Ash-Morgan is the Founding Co-Artistic Director for the new theatre company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director of Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 to 2019 having been an actor as well as a board member for SSC since the year 2011. In her role as the Artistic Director of SSC, she was the company's composer, musician and text coach, as well as set/costume/music design. For her last year she worked as a director and lighting designer in SSC's production of King Lear. She had been directing from the ensemble but in this previous year, she directed her debut. Other than acting she has also worked on a number of games series. The daughter of the poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised along with two brothers within Walnut Creek. Las Lomas High School is where she attended and participated in cheerleading. The school she attended was Pomona College before graduating from Lewis & Clark College. In a private note, Post was earlier was married with Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross is her husband of 22 years since 1982. The couple has two daughters.
