Andrea Navedo, an American author and actress. She began her career on the soap operas One Life to Live, Guiding Light. Later she performed in numerous supporting roles on premiertime TV. Andrea Navedo, an American singer and actress born on the streets of The Bronx New York United States on October 10, 1977. Navedo's acting career started in soap operas. From 1995 to 1997 she played Linda Soto on the ABC soap production One Life to Live. In 1999, she was part of the crew of the CBS soap production Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. The film debut of her was with a part in Girl 6 in 1996. She went on to star on the shows New York Undercover, and The District. Navedo appeared in Double Take in 2001 and Washington Heights the next year. Navedo was a recurring actor on the NBC Crime series Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004. He later appeared in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages along with Blue Bloods. Navedo has also been seen in films such as El Cantante, Remember Me as well as a variety of other films. From 2011 to 2013 Navedo was also a regular character for How to Make It in America Golden Boy and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Superfast! She was a star in the show's comedy.
